3RL/3 Description

TriFlat™ by Grip Needles is composed of 3RL needles that are arranged in a straight line, making it a 3RL and flat needle hybrid. Its unique shape and design make it great for stippling, line work and among the best tattoo needles for detailed multi-textural work.

A 3RL/3 tattoo needle grouping has three 3RL needles in the cartridge.

3RL/3 Needle Cartridge Materials

With the TriFlat™, you are sure that both the tattoo cartridges and needles are made from high-grade materials. The cartridge is built using sturdy, medical-grade Korean polycarbonate (PC) plastic, so it’s not going to break easily. On the other hand, the needle is made with 316 stainless steel, the same material used in medical and food-safe metal tools.

3RL/3 Needle Cartridge Features

The TriFlat™ is best used for stippling, pixelating, and whip shading. Performing such techniques using magnum needles can be impractical if you are trying to achieve a stipple texture, while using regular round liners can take too much time and cause discomfort to clients. Using a TriFlat™ to do these techniques will allow you to cover areas using fewer passes, so you can draw fine details like scales and stone textures or create realistic hair strokes more efficiently. You will finish your work faster and with less fatigue than if you use conventional shading tattoo needles.

TriFlat™ tattoo needle cartridges are compatible with the standard tattoo pen machines used by tattoo and permanent makeup (PMU) artists. The cartridge has a soft membrane that stops ink backflow from cross-contaminating your machine. It also comes with a soft, removable silicone sleeve that cushions your fingers. This sleeve reduces your risk of finger fatigue and helps you work longer on bigger and more complex patterns or procedures.

Each needle cartridge was manufactured following stringent quality standards to ensure they are safe for you and your clients. They are sterilized with EO gas to kill pathogens that can cause and spread diseases.

For retail purchases, Grip Needles does not impose a minimum order requirement for buying 3RL hybrid needles.

Standard 3RL tattoo needles are often used for lining and stippling/shading. As a 3RL and flat hybrid, the TriFlat™ can be used to do the same techniques in less time and using less energy and effort. Because it is shaped like a flat, the TriFlat™ can produce multiple precise lines in a single pass, allowing you to cover specific areas in fewer passes. This makes it easier to stipple textures like pixels and fur or draw details like natural-looking hair strokes.

AMAZING 1 Round Liner - 1RL/3 Triangle Hybrid Needles
